Paint portion of ceiling or whole thing?
Hello! Curious to get everyone’s opinion on this. Do you think I’ll be able to get someone to paint just a portion of my ceiling where I had a moisture issue recently (see discolored portion), or will they have to paint the whole ceiling?

I had a similar issue with my ceiling after a leak. I thought we could just paint the damaged spot, but even with the same color, it was tough to get a perfect match because the rest of the ceiling had aged a bit. In the end, repainting the whole thing made everything look much better!
If you’re not too worried about a perfect match, you could try just doing the spot

@rbarrigan Bob, what do you think? I think with a patch that big it's probably best to paint the ceiling...
