Hello! First post here and I’m curious who here has a whole home water softener and filtration system in their house? What size is it? And also, what did it cost you in total? For a townhouse I don’t expect it to be too big, but I had a local company come and gave me a quote of $4,001 for everything. Is that reasonable? Overpriced? Also, they said the unit was going to take up a lot of space (like 4 feet wide by about 3 feet long and 4 feet tall) and the only other water softener I’ve seen wasn’t that large, and it was 15 years ago. Can anybody share pic of theirs and the cost of the unit and installation? Thanks!!
